Dr. Mason Edward White
Biography: Doctor Ed White is the son of Rex White and Frances Johnson, a Logan native and a Logan High School graduate. He completed his pre-medical studies at Marshall University and then obtained his degree as a doctor of optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. While at Southern, Dr. White was an honor student and was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Since graduating from Southern , he has completed several hundred hours of approved post-doctoral courses. Dr. White has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1977. Community activities have included coaching grade school basketball and Little League baseball, Logan Lions Club, School Improvement Council and Justice Grade School PTO president. Dr. White has served WECAN ( working to eliminate child abuse and neglect ) for 16 years and is presently vice president of the board of directors. He is also a founding director of the Logan County Child Advocacy Center. In addition, Dr. White is serving on the board of directors of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. White successfully raced open wheel formula cars, but hasn't raced since he and Ellen started a family. He is still an avid fan of NASCAR, Indy Car, Formula One, Moto GP, World Superbike, AMA Motocross, and Supercross. Dr. White is married to Ellen Mullins White, a special educator. They have three children, Tony Quinn, a medical billing specialist, Paul Quinn, serving in the US Air Force, and Joanna White, a graduate of University of Charleston. Ed and Ellen are blessed with two daughters - in - law, Cheryl and Autumn, and a special grandson Shane, who is five. Don’t forget the family pet, Gracie, an Old English Sheepdog. |

Dr. Lucas is a graduate of Harts High School, Marshall University and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoys hunting, fishing and riding his ATV. |
